I agree, I really dislike graffiti, but this is really impressive!

Well at least they were kind enough to leave the Reporting / weight marks visible, or did The Railroad re- stencil over them? thanks for sharing

One of the forums for these "artists" (yes, they do have forums) advises readers to not paint over the reporting marks and numbers, in hopes of being left alone by railroad workers.

In an odd way I have to admire the kind of dedication it takes to paint something this big. I also think "erase" is the artist issuing a taunt, daring the railroad to try to do just that.

I worked a lot of years on the railroad but I have to admit, this is the finest graffiti job I have ever seen.

I'm guessing that they had to re-paint the reporting marks and weight. That would be the reason for the "new" looking black paint outlining them.

Still looking colorful, like it did in 2010.

I usually don't like graffiti on anything whatsoever, and like the others who commented they did not cover the reporting number? and info panel. And its sort of funny in a way as erase is what the railway company will do with it! Nice one thanks, Bill
