Great catch...reminds me of when a lot of railroads once used coal cinders from their steam engines for ballast on secondary routes.

Some of the most grimy, filthy, hot and sweaty work on the railroad imaginable, and no doubt a day hot enough to make the Devil cry. Thanks for sharing!
