OK, now that I'm seeing it in action, I have to comment on something. These cabooses have always baffled me. I mean, since the crew members couldn't actually sit "in" the bay window due to it not extending to the floor of the caboose, by necessity they have to lean into the bay window. There was just no way that the brakeman or conductor could do that for hours during each run. Sore necks, backs, and arms to support them must've made the windows the least used of all caboose designs. Only just for quick leaning glances is all they appear useful for.
