Been to Yermo many times when I was with the US Army and doing a rotation at Fort Irwin. Loading and off loading wheeled and tracked vehicles. I remember driving to Yermo to load on the rail cars. Seemed it took all day to drive across the desert to get there. Loaded an M1 Abrams once and my front ground guide wasn't paying attention to close and I drove off the left side of a flat car. You should feel nervous loading a tank that large anyway, since the tracks over hang on each side by one half of a track block. it felt strange sitting at about a 45 degree angle.
