Beautiful night shot, and at a great location. I traveled through Atchison about a decade ago and from what I recall, there was a very nice swing bridge there over the river, with the bridge tender and his wife living right there by the bridge. They were getting up there in years and were very friendly people. There also were a couple of railroad buildings that survived from an earlier time, when the looks of the building mattered as much as its function.
