Around the same time that this photo was taken there was a trucking company, George Transfer Inc., that used this same, identical, symbol on the sides of their trucks. I wonder if there may have been a parental or financial connection between the two?

I can not believe that a Guilford black locomotive shot has hit the top three. I have a video of this unit on a strike era train through Gardner. The 80's was a stranger decade on the Guilford system.
