I never noticed that these GEVOs have two different style of knuckle busters. Seems a little strange, they must have run out of one or the other lol

David, I think if you study closely all new GEVos you will find the use of the knuckle busters on nearly every GEVO except for some early pre-production units. I have images of the very first NS ES40DC units and many other units dating back to 2004 with this same arrangement. My guess is that the paint and this particular view are simply drawing attention to the area and causing you to note this detail.
