How quick things change in the railroad world - just a mere 5 years earlier in this very spot every train had brand new standard cab SD60's lined up here.

Not only is there NS pool power in the background, there is also an abundance of UP power in back of these units.

Renee, the abundance of UP power is because of the hauling agreement UP and CNW had where CNW coal trains ran on UP's mainline across Nebraska where they'd switch off to CNW's Iowa-Chicago mainline. Definitely sort of a sign of the merger though.
