I bet it sounds great too! Btw, a pair of these old reliables takes a unit train of autoracks (60+ cars) from Alliston to the junction at Lambton (west Toronto) twice a day every weekday plus the occasional Saturday. I wouldn't be at all surprised to find out these three have been up there.

Back in th 80's this is all we would see. I think we all long for the days of three SD40-2's. Good shot and thanks.

As of recently trains 255/254 have become Windsor-Binhampton, NY trains, thus removing the need for 541/540 which ran from London-Welland on a daily basis (now bumped to as required). It is unlikely that us railfans along the Hamilton Sub will see power such as this again unless it starts running on 255/254 which isn't very probable...how things on the railroad change so very fast. By the way, thanks for the comments!
