Wow, I didn’t know they would use a wooden constructed trestle today at that height. But, I am sure it is safe or it wouldn’t be used.

What a trip to see your name on this photo! I shot this same scene a half-dozen times that summer, usually commuting from my place in West Seattle to my parents' in Bellevue for a weekend dinner. But strange thing is, from the time I moved to Bellevue in 1976 until then, I'd only photographed trains a half dozen times before on it--all Milwaukee Road!
