Wow, so much has changed in seventeen years. The Soo Line bridge has since been replaced with a new one and the 35th Avenue tower behind the bridge pier suffered a fire some years back and has since been razed. Thanks for sharing.

Can anyone explain the numerous "no clearance" signs?

There's a clearance sign for each corresponding track beneath the sign. A crew can see the sign for the track they're on regardless if their range of vision is obstructed by another train on an adjacent track.
