Posted by Rich Brown on January 28, 2013  Cooperative research from several sources indicates that this beautiful survivor was indeed PRR 5794 then 4254; Penn Central 4254, then worked in Boston area commuter service as MBTA 4254. This "E" can also be seen in RP photos # 230661 ( in FEC colors) and 315040 (in PC paint ) leading a passenger train.
