A photo of a caboose is almost always going to be a "Favorite" of mine, but a Seaboard System caboose that far away from home is DEFINITELY a favorite.

In 1988 I rode a military train from Yermo to Ft Knox, KY. We had 4 cableese, one of which was just like this. It was the worst ride (note the coil springs v. leaf springs on the others). I staked out a nice B&O bay window with a cushion under frame and made out OK. That was a great trip.
