I take it the freeze damage on the 104 was bad enough to warrant its demise?

Kevin, I'm NOT questioning the "heritage" info you have provided but, it SURE LOOKS like this unit spent some time at Conrail.

The freeze damaged S-4 104 was repaired with components stripped from an already out of service 103. 104 has been working since the 2nd week of February, but carloadings are heavy enough to warrant a bigger unit in West Leb. As for the blue paint, while remarkably similar to Conrail, this unit went from BN to Con Agra CAGX (where it was photographed in relatively fresh dip blue many moons ago), and then BDLX, LVR and the CCRR.
