These engines were built to SP specs,but weighed in at over 430,000 lbs,about the heaviest 6 axel units at the time.I don't know what became of them when Eagle Mtn. shut down.I imagine someone out there must know.

They were stored at Kasier's Steel main plant at Fontana, CA until that plant itself was (for the most part) closed and torn down. Believe that all five or six were scraped on site in the late 90's.
