Where is this locomotive these days and is it operational?

I am glad to see this CB&Q home-grown example of their 0-5A series survive, unlike its famed oil fired sister #5632 which was used on excursions in the 60's, but later scrapped.

This Ex CB&Q 4-8-4 is at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden Colorado right across from the Coors Brewry. It isnt operational and hasn't been for many years. In fact it still sits in this same spot as when this picture was taken in 1978. The displays around it have moved around a bit since then however.
