Love the engine...the colors...but the BBQ ad and no engine number? Might be just as well to take the wheels off of her! But, it is a very nice picture!

Interesting. Last time I saw a E8 on a main line as a prime mover was in 1978, when The Southern Railway was still in charge of pulling the "Crescent". I was only 8 but remember it well and fell in love the those EMD and ALCO streamliners. I am eager to see when the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum will have their E8 up and out. The NC Trans. Museum E8 6900 is nice to see as well. Th
