I believe this is former #3798 of Western Maryland heritage, the very last to wear the black, white, and red circus scheme. Shame the dynamics got ditched, but its good to still see her running.

The ISRR 4040 started life as a GP40 for the C&O 3788 and the 4041 started life as a GP40 for the WM 3798. Railtex started the Indiana Southern on April 11, 1992 and upgraded 7 GP40 to GP40-1 by adding some electrical boards. Good looking photo glad to see them doing good.

The second unit, 4041 is the former WM 3798, the 4040 is the former C&O 3788. The easiest way to tell the 3798 apart from the rest of the ISRR GP40 rebuilds are its extra jackpads located just inboard of the step wells. Even in red and gold instead of red and white, still nice to see it running and not a slug.
