For those unfamiliar with the American Orient Express consist, the observation car is named New York, and was originally built as New York Central 20th Century Limited tail car Sandy Creek, sister of Hickory Creek. Both cars still exist in today, the latter having been fully restored to its original configuration and as-built livery, after several years of service as the tail car on the Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey circus train.
