You are so right when you said "I saw this amazing sight." It is also the most colorful steam locomotive sight that I have ever seen in my 74 years of living. The only thing that I have seen more colorful was the gathering of the Norfolk Southern heritage units last year in Spenser Virginia. USA. I am giving this shot my PCA vote.

Well done Graham! I would have loved to have been there myself. Also I am sure that NRM with it's current financial concerns would have loved to have admission paid by all those attendees!

This photo is an education of sorts, especially so with the remarks about it. Thanks Mr. Williams and it must have been a gas to be there!

Nice photo. Thanks for sharing a sight that most of us could not experience in person.

I sure hope that when the 60008 Dwight D. Eisenhower returns back to Green Bay that someone up there gets a "fire" (pun intended) in their belly to restore it to operating condition. This locomotive would be an interesting, unique, and different addition to the preserved steam locomotives operating across America. Besides, a UK A4 named for an American WWII General/U.S. President needs to be a rolling history education example for today's generation of rail AND history buffs.
