Did Conrail order their SD50s with Flexicoil trucks as well? It appears so, or the shops replaced them sometime after the left the erecting bay at LaGrange...

Yes, Conrail did order their SD50s with Flexicoil trucks, just like they did for their SD40-2s. They finally relented when the SD60 came out, and those (and later SD60Ms) had the HT-C trucks.
