Impressive engine very nicely captured! Wonder if any proceeds from the transfer of the Big Boy back to UP could find their way towards replacing the boiler sheets on #9000? I'll be most non-railfans probably think that's how the engine always looked.... 4-12-2, still - wow!

I wish the UP could have done a two for one deal. As nice as the Big Boy is, wouldn't it have been something to hear three barrels of steam thundering down the tracks again?! Nice shot Nathanial! I see you didn't use the shot were my shoe was in front if your lens!

Post to Steve and Mitch, UP is in the works in reclaiming their old steam engines and repairing them to be running again. Two that the are getting back is 9000 and 4014.
