2423 looks great as if it is fresh from the builder. It’s hard to believe that this series is from approx. 1982. Incidentally, how many of you out there when traveling by car in an unfamiliar area never fail to check out the heritage of RR overpasses you pass under??

While not a very glamorous bridge, it's one of the few PRR artifacts I look at when I'm visiting Altoona. Reason - if you carefully, you can still see the faded words 'Pennsylvania' painted on the side of the bridge.
