Thanks for the inside(r) view!

Not bad. I like all the glass area on the end. I wish I knew more about the purpose of the overhead monitors and the controls behind the wood barrel backed chairs.

Interesting view of this nice looking car Matt - and to continue: in reply to Paul Flaherty, the controls behind the wooden chairs look to be for those overhead monitors as well as an entertainment system. This being an Office car for Amtrak VIP's - those monitors are linked to the locomotive cameras so the Supervisory staff riding back here can see what the engineer is seeing down the line, as well as what the crew is doing in the cab. Like a "Big Brother" is watching you situation. This also looks like that set-up may be a partial "cab control" desk for a crewperson to have some control of a reverse move of the train. Don't forget that there is also a rear camera mounted just above the rear door of this car so one of those monitors can provide a rear view of track conditions of the section the train just traversed. Although, I am a little disappointed in seeing that those four "lounge chairs" aren't recliners! Maybe there are a couple of recliners behind the camera view? Still - nice capture Matt. I wouldn't pass up the opportunity of having a ride in this car for a long distance trip just once if it ever presented itself.
