Very cool shot, Brian (no pun intended). How far did you have to hike in, or was this a "get out of your vehicle, point the camera, get back in your vehicle" shot? (That's definitely the kind I would do in that sort of weather!)

I got lucky, it was a simple get out, try not to slip, stay out of the way of the county snow plow, take the pic and run back in the car and "try" to warm back up before we got out of the car again :)

Super photo, Brian. It takes a brave railfan to go out
in weather like this. But the results were worth it.
