Did this Amtrak Train originate in Chicago? Is it the Capital Limited or the Cardinal? Very Scenic Train ride, that I would like to experience.

This train did not originate in Chicago. This is the New River Train. An excursion run by the Collis P. Huntington Railroad Historical Society in cooperation with Amtrak. It runs on the last two weekends of October every year and is the only public excursion CSX allows to operate on their entire rail network. It first began in 1966 by the Chesapeake and Ohio and has operated every year since then. The train departs from Huntington, WV in the morning and heads east toward Hinton, WV where it makes stops at St. Albans and Montgomery along the way. More information about the train can be found at newrivertrain.com
