How much clear track like this is left? Looks like a great place for a rail-bike park!

So what say ye? Is this right of way open to the public or still privately owned? If still privately owned it is not public ROW. That means if we go on it we are trespassing whether it is used or not. Just a thought!

My girlfriend is from here. We go down every year to ride the atv trails. Ive tried to follow the tracks but most them have been taken out once you get to the towns outskirts. The bridges are a sight to see though!

Chase - I know this is a couple of years late response..but wonderful photo. If I am to remember correctly, I just read recently somewhere that the Cass Scenic or Durbin & Greenbrier Valley is now in the process of working with the State of West Virginia to reclaim this line and connect two towns that this line once connected and add another opportunity for another tourist train, and an extra run of one of their "name" trains. Maybe I'm confused about which line they are talking about, but if this is it - they seem to have a good foundation to work with and not much upgrade with this section.
