I wonder how long that thing will stay bright and shiny as it is now? That is a very nice paint scheme that KCS has adopted.

Heard these were built in Mexico? My gosh, I saw 4151 and 4162 (one a GE, the other an EMD) yesterday south of Neosho, as mid-train DPUs on a coaler, and joked that they were pretty enough to ask out on a date. Those locos (like this, built about 3 weeks ago), sparkled against the sunlit snow, quite a contrast to the front end power and rear DPU, all UP locos that looked like they'd been slopping around too long in "winter storm Hercules".
