One of my favorite engines. The 23A was retired in March 1968.

The MGB the Caddy and the 23A make this a favorite...one of my first trips Firing on these locos was the curious bench seat that the Fireman and Brakeman had to share...we called them "love seats." Great photo...Thanks....Tom.

Wow! Never saw a picture of one of these. Did they run them in a A B A set? Really a cool locomotive. I thought it was a Baldwin at first glance.
