That paint job really is god awful. As is the work they did on the plow and he ditch lights. Would like to see it run again, but i have my doubts

I recorded several videos of this locomotive in it's glory days of the late 70's and 80's. It's a shame to see it deteriorate. Sure hope it gets the attention it needs and returned to the rails before it's too late. Time for Ross to pass it on and let it be restored.

I kinda like that paint scheme, especially with those blue-green mountains in the background! The N&W called their 4-8-4's the J-Class, to avoid calling them Northerns. So what did C&O call theirs?
