Didn't remember that you were from Calera, Frank. No wonder the RR bug bit you. The hotel was still open in 1975, though it was more of a boarding house/SRO by then.

Great pic David! Love the old depot, drug store and signage. Ahhh, if we could rewind that clock! Well, that might not work very well for me since going back to 1975 would make me three years old :) It's a shame the buildings are all gone now. Modern buildings are just plain boring.

The Clanton depot is still standing, but I don't think it's being used for anything. I would love to see it restored.
