WOW...a Milwaukee Road feathered switch stand at this late stage of the game...I'm amazed that it's still there and not in someone's basement. They are really rare since the CP spent all that time and money replacing them with pro-back type switches in the states since 1990. We had one here in Port Byron for a long time at what was once the south end to the siding on the Nitrin Line but a few years ago it was removed and is currently in one of my neighbors gardens.

There's still a good number of these switch stands left on the KB&S' portion of the old Southeastern Tom. The KB&S has replaced a few here and there, but they still serve their purpose after all these years and won't be replaced until need be.
