Mike I like this shot as most of the photos of a MofW ballast cleaner, rail grinder, etc. are action photos of the machines doing their jobs. Those photos are always interesting - but to get a photo of one just deadheading to someplace else is somewhat a rarity. These trains are often on the road for long periods of time and the crews are pretty much stuck on them for the duration of their assignments. I especially like the small grill on the back porch of this crew-cab / caboose - indicating that they occasionally have to fix their own meals. You have a really good photo Mike - thank you for catching this one.

Thanks Dana! I wasn't sure what was coming at me until it came around the bend because the horn on this equipment sounded just like a fire engine's siren!
