Given the train on the left is NB 154, those must be the mid-train "Radio Units (Slaves)" and if correct,it kills me to see a Master, the 3107, running mid-train. My first task on arrival at Chattanoga Diesel Shop every morning was to find a "Radio Car"and "Master" unit to run on 124 to St. Louis, MR. Presson's train, that evening. SB 83,s consist, as you know, is typical for the era. Great shot, and brings back a lot of memories. Radio Cars and Masters were few and difficult to keep up with in those days, but was "Hell to Pay" if you didn't have them in place. TL
