This place is easily accessed via the Lansing River Trail which goes under the tracks at the bridge at the top of this picture. You can park at Potter Park Zoo, or the River Trail parking off of Kalamazoo Street at the end of Clippert which are easily found off of US-127 and I-496 by going east a bit, towards Michigan State University.
