Mike, just seeing the thumbnail made me think of the MBTA colors and scheme! While some don't like the colors they certainly stand out, neat looking bullet.

Thanks for this excellent photo of an ACL engine. I spent my summers with my grand parents in North Carolina in towns along the ACL lines. My grandfather worked for ACL as a Section Forman. I remember riding behind engines such as this on and I most like say this on several times in the 1950's. We were dismayed when the black and yellow showed up in 1959.
