I’m going to assert that this is 35 as LS&I 34 was moved to the Illinois Railway Museum in September 1971 and remained there until sold to Western Maryland in 1992. #35 was dropped-off at IRM by the C&NW on December 24, 1986 and you’ll notice that the main rods and boosters’ side rods have already been disconnected in preparation for the move. Thanks for the clarification, as I was unaware of the IRM reference materials. Did the original tender stay at IRM, and did it have a booster? I don't think that many tender boosters have survived to the present day.
