NKP sure picked a good breed when they had these ladies built. Both built in the 1940's and still in existence today with 765 still going strong!

Robert - you have a very good photo here, as it's been selected to be posted on RailPictures.net. I think it would be interesting for Steamtown in Scranton to restore No. 759 - or let the Fort Wayne group have it and let them restore her, then they could have a matching set of "Twins" to run around with. They could even pull a "Joke" on April 1st by putting the 765 number plate on both of them and run a "push-me-pull-you" train with No. 765 on each end of the train - confusing railfans track side. Of course they could do a double 759 as well. Which one is the REAL 765 / 759 guessing game.
