Still my favorite story involving the EJE 666 was when I worked for the UP my engineer & I were ordered to take lite power to West Chicago to pick up the Plains empty train. We had the UP 6660 as our leader and the leader the EJE had when they dropped the train off to us was the 666! To add insult to injury it was Friday the 13th! I looked at my engineer and said "SCREW THIS!! I'M WALKING HOME!" (The West Chicago yard was only a few miles from where I lived at the time). Fortunately for us, the rest of the trip went off without incident. :P
