The Pennsy thought big with a four track main, the inside tracks for freight, in lieu of a bypass. Pennsylvania, on the other hand looks at the center tracks and thinks - "this would be a great place for a station platform in 2018". Ugh. Nice catch - glad you were there to capture these!
