Thanks for all the kind words! As for the lighting, I used four studio flashes (three Alien Bee B800s and a Lumedyne 200 w/s) strategically located through the scene. If you'd like more details on the lighting, feel free to use the 'Contact photographer' feature and I'd be glad to give you more info. FWIW, this shot was inspired by two photos - O. Winston Link's "Luray Crossing Virginia 1955" and the Howard Pincus/Robert Hart Jr. "Night Ride 1985", with the latter being at the same crossing this photo was taken at.
