As for the lighting, I used four studio flashes (three Alien Bee B800s and a Lumedyne 200 w/s) strategically located through the scene. Winston Link's "Luray Crossing Virginia 1955" and the Howard Pincus/Robert Hart Jr. "Night Ride 1985", with the latter being at the same crossing this photo was taken at.
