Wow, wait, what - this happened? Great catch, Doug! Hard to imagine a steam engine (with no diesel, to boot) getting so close to the city limits. This city's limits, no less! What a sight!

There's Philly area steam more to come, when I come across the slides. Imagine 2102 on these shoppers specials, or CP 972 emerging Flat Rock Tunnel. Unassisted steam was the norm until recently. The only exception that comes to mind is Clinchfield 4-6-0 #1, which didn't have the power to pull heavy trains on the Clinchfield grades.
