Back in the late 50's, me and my uncle, Olyn (Ike) Wineholt use to haul wheat in a flatbed truck to the elevator, going in the opening an being lifted by a lift under the front wheels to empty the contents of the truck. Many happy trips getting a nickel an going inside the office an getting a cream soda out of the water cooled pop machine. The loading/unloading siding is no longer in service, down the track you can make out a new switch in the ditch, which is now connected to the main line going to a multi track yard with new grain loading facilities.
