Sid, you are so right. What kills me is I watched/loved trains from early childhood (and even lived near tracks a couple times), but did not make my first railroad photo until I was a college freshman in fall 1970, and did not get a decent camera until spring of 1973. If I had started - literally - just a few months sooner, I could have shot Fs and Alcos left and right.
