Suspect Canadian weather has not been kind in the 30 years since the picture was taken.

That's a "neat" display - uncluttered by fences and poles, though risky in that there's no cover from the elements, nor the vandals.

You can see them on google maps pretty easily. They don't look bad, I guess "tagging" isn't a big deal way up there. They actually look like a couple of light engines ready to go somewhere.

Google's street-view and a photosphere in the park show it's still in decent shape.
