This looks like on of the contraptions built by Republic Locomotive. The one I'm familiar with looked similar and was owned by OWTX. THE USED A BIG Cummings engine and had actually converted a traction motor into a generator. It used a "joystick" control. Very weird but I wouldn't call it an S-2 any more.
