Playing in Google found the National Park Service's page for the store. Among the 9 photos they have is one showing a Post Office this side of it, with a boardwalk running in front of both and the boardwalk having a diagonal lattice something I don't know the right term for to keep things from getting under it.
In that photo there appears to be a bucket precariously perched on that little trim under upper floor window this end, wonder what that was all about. Something to pour on the heads of overly rowdy miners?
