Lucky you. I was in Vietnam during the war and always wondered what it would be like to ride the train from Saigon to Hanoi.

MarkT - What an interesting photo and location, and I just wanted to add a little insight to this train. This is the SE-1, aka the Saigon Express, also known as "The Reunification Express"! This train travels 36-hours from Hanoi to Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City on a daily basis. There is an interesting Documentary on this railroad and this train on YouTube, the link to that video is:
