Of course activists and Administration are standing right by to immediately pivot those freshly jobless coal industry employees in to same-paying green jobs that very day, right?
(those people who have bills to pay and groceries to buy concern me more than do the scientific theory and economic policy, even though those directly impact the ability to pay the bills and buy the groceries: the people are already impacted) This will eventually, if not already, affect seaport employees and coal ship crews. Okay, yeah, we know the science and the policy - but what about the real live human beings affected and displaced by those; are they ultimately anything more than some data points on some spreadhseets?
