I remember the L10 bringing empty hoppers to the Powerton Yard where we'd set out loads of coal that it would haul back to St Francis. If I remember correctly each shift would make a run from the power plant to Powerton and return to setout and pick up from the Milwaukee Road on the C&M Division....Tom.

I have a picture of the L10 at the East Troy Museum in September, 1972. The museum's roster appears to have changed considerably in the those 40 years.

I wonder how they got it out of there. The rail in the field west of this was gone before 88. The bridge over Lake Drive might still have been there. The fence in the background was on the way to the area they let you fish at where they would take in water for the power plant.
